Visiting Lennard Taylor in Winnipeg - Love Where You Local

One of our favourite parts of being Winnipeg real estate agents is getting to connect people not only with homes, but with the incredible local businesses and creative people that make our city feel so special. That’s a huge part of why we created our Love Where You Local series.

This week, we had the chance to visit one of our personal favourite local spots, Lennard Taylor.

If you’ve never been, this is far more than a clothing store. It’s a working design studio where creativity is happening right in front of you. Every piece is designed and made on site, and you can truly feel the artistry, intention, and care woven into everything there.

Lennard Taylor has been creating custom clothing and wearable art in Winnipeg for over two decades. His designs are bold, thoughtful, expressive, and timeless all at once. What we love most is that his approach is rooted in slow fashion, creating high-quality pieces designed to last and make people feel confident, beautiful, and completely themselves.

Amber has personally collected many Lennard Taylor pieces over the years, including her favourite Brenda shirts in multiple patterns. They’re fun, versatile, comfortable, and effortlessly stylish, which honestly feels like the perfect reflection of what local shopping can be.

His beautiful new retail space and workshop in South Osborne feels welcoming the moment you walk in. From the fabrics and colours to the warmth and kindness behind the brand, everything feels intentional and connected to community.
