Love Where You Local: First Fridays IN THE EXCHANGE DISTRICT

If you’ve never done First Fridays in the Exchange, consider this your sign!

One of the things we love most about Winnipeg is how much creativity is packed into this city. On the first Friday of every month, galleries, studios, shops, restaurants, and creative spaces open their doors, turning the Exchange into one giant celebration of local art, music, food, and community.

For this adventure, we started with dinner at Cordova, popped into a local framing studio, explored Warehouse Artworks, browsed vintage shops, visited Clothing Bakery and Two Macaws, listened to live music at Andrew Sikorsky’s studio, and ended the night at a warehouse party.

What makes First Fridays so special isn’t just the art. It’s the people behind it. The artists, musicians, makers, entrepreneurs, and dreamers who help make Winnipeg the vibrant, creative city we love calling home.

It’s fun, it’s inspiring, and every time we go, we discover somewhere new.
