Love Where You Local: Celebrating Pride in Winnipeg

One of our favourite traditions each year is celebrating Pride in Winnipeg.

For this edition of Love Where You Local, we're taking a look back at some of our favourite Pride memories over the years. From the earlier celebrations at the Legislative Grounds to Pride events in Steinbach and the incredible energy of today's celebrations at The Forks, it's been wonderful to watch Pride continue to grow and evolve across Manitoba.

What we love most about Pride is the sense of community. The music, the colour, the creativity, the joy, and the incredible people who come together to celebrate love, acceptance, and inclusion. It's a reminder of how powerful community can be when everyone feels welcome to be themselves.

Pride Month is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the many members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community who help make Winnipeg such a vibrant, welcoming, and diverse city. We are proud to support our friends, family members, clients, neighbours, and community members during Pride Month and throughout the year.

Winnipeg Pride continues to be one of the city's most colourful and meaningful community celebrations, bringing together people from all walks of life in a spirit of kindness, acceptance, and connection.
